Halloween Cross-Promotion Event

This is the page we’ll be using to pick our assigned comic. They are all listed below, along with links to pages that should give you an idea of what its characters look like. Go through the list and try to find a comic or two that you’d like to dress your characters as, then read through the comments to see if someone has taken it already. Call dibs on a comic by posting a comment on this page stating what comic you want. Please enter an email address that you can be contacted through; I don’t yet have one for everyone. And please mention what your comic is (if it is not obvious by looking at your display name or optional website URL.)

Remember, you are picking the comic you want to dress YOUR characters as, not the comic who will dress as your characters.

This will largely be a “first come first serve” basis, whoever first claims a comic gets that assignment. But we may have to change a couple so that we can form a complete ring of links, so nothing is final until everyone is assigned.

If you’re not too picky, you can claim multiple comics as “or” statement; (comic A or Comic B or Comic C,) any comics claimed in an “or” statement are still open until there is only one unclaimed comic in a person’s post, at which point they are now claiming that comic.

If you are willing to dress your characters as any of the comics, then please post a comment to say that. (If there is any comic you are unwilling to be assigned, then make a claim on one of the other comics.) I won’t know that everyone has made a choice until I see a comment from everyone.

When everyone has made a claim, I will roll some dice to randomly assign the last of the “any” and “or” claims, making sure to keep all of the assignments into a single ring (or two even rings.) If people’s choices prevent forming an even ring, I will ask people to make second choices when we reach that point.

(In the interest of fairness, I will wait until Sunday before I stake any claims.)
