Yup, things have finally caught up with me and I’ve got my first real filler page. Not like the Christmas filler nor the several pages that I’ve intentionally chopped into separate parts, but a real bonafide filler page in place of having real content.
But truth be told, I’ve been putting in too much time into this comic instead of things like finding a job or building a video game. I need to be more willing to miss an update, since this comic shouldn’t take center-stage in my life right now.
Maybe we’ll just chalk this up to being a vacation. I have to house-sit for my parents this week, so maybe I shouldn’t expect to be posting next week either. I’ll be too busy spending the week playing Portal 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum, and those honestly need to take priority over making this comic.

Okay, I’ve beaten Portal 2, so now I need to decide if I want to clear through all the extras in Portal 2 or start on Batman.
(sigh) I recall a time when I had the money and time to play games in the same year they came out…
Arkham Asylum is a masterpiece of a video game. The Scarecrow is genuinely terrifying, to a point where I’d say it actually becomes a horror game whenever he shows up. Killer Croc is a friggin’ monster now, unlike the joke character he was in BTAS. And don’t even get me started on The Joker…
I’ve yet to get Arkham City, but I’m really looking forward to it.
I’m not finding the scarecrow parts to be terrifying, but g**-d*** are they fun.
A lot of this game is reminding me of Metal Gear Solid, and it’s almost as good as it too.
And for what it’s worth, some of him being a joke character in BTAS was totally worth it.

You’ve been good at keeping up with updates. Go finish your video games/life stuff.
Today I watched my Extra Bonus Features disc on the Blu-Ray Edition Of the Star Wars series. I’ve been feeling guilty for not enjoying all the nice gifts I have recieved this past year while working on my comic.
So take a break! A happy comic makes better comics.
